Learning Center Seattle

Learning Center Seattle helps learners improve their lives through one-on-one education advocacy and case management services as well as tuition-free college at any of the Seattle colleges up to an AA degree. Our instructors, case managers, IEP teachers, and mental health counselors can help you at every step of the way - from completing your GED庐, to finishing your degree or technical training, and even finding employment. Our Services

The Learning Center Seattle program is free of charge to eligible students, who are 16 to 21 years old and have not completed high school but want to earn their GED庐 to go on to college, technical training and/or start a career. Eligible students may enroll with a prior GED庐 certificate to work employment goals or pursue college as well. The Learning Center Seattle program provides the following services and resources to students:

Before College

  • Free preparation for the GED庐 and college placement exams (English and Math)
  • Free vouchers to take the the GED庐 Ready tests, GED庐 official tests
  • Morning and afternoon GED庐 class options
  • Learn鈥揳t鈥搚our鈥搊wn鈥損ace college atmosphere
  • One鈥搊n鈥搊ne attention from 色中色 faculty members
  • Employment support and social services through a King County Case Manager
  • Preparation to enter college through King County post-secondary Case Manager
  • For those enrolling with a prior GED庐 certificate and want to access to tuition-free college, students will work with King County post-secondary Case Manager to create and complete a college readiness plan before college

While In鈥揅ollege

  • Tuition鈥揻ree college to attend any of the 色中色 up to an AA degree
  • College Navigation through a King County post-secondary Case Manager
  • Free services through a Case Manager through King County
  • Referrals to various on鈥揷ampus programs to continue supporting your education
